OK so the people you are with help make the experience a good one however the food, venue and service made this fish and chips one of the best. The staff were friendly and attentive without being overwhelming which was particularly nice. They had a good sense of humour and appreciated ours. Food was clearly cooked fresh and tasted fantastic, batter on the fish was light and full of flavour. Chips cooked just right. Thank you guys great evening

Delicious batter,great cooked to perfection and very good value for money. We are visiting brightlingsea and this will not be our last visit Try it ,you won't be disappointed

Winkies has the absolute best fish and chips I’ve ever had! The fish and chips isn’t greasy, the staff are lovely and has a great vibe. My wife and I always go back to winkies everytime we visit the UK. Bonus tip: make sure you get the curry sauce. Amazing food, service and smiles.
